Most Buxus benefit from feeding in early spring and again in late summer. In warmer climates, feeding can continue later into the year. The best sign to fertilise is at the sign of new buds which follows a 6-8 week cycle from the beginning of Spring.

However, as hedges grow, they will naturally increase in size and may require hard cut backs or renovations, to keep them at your desired height. If you are doing a hard cut back or renovating ensure you apply Topbuxus Health-mix and Grow to ensure that all plant wounds are innoculated and that enough nutrients are supplied to boost energy stores for a faster recovery.
